Third grade had a wonderful time at the Tellus Museum expanding their knowledge on fossils. One fun fact they learned is that dinosaur poop is a fossil and touched it! They impressed the tour guides with their vocabulary and expertise.

Our second grade STEAM students were challenged to design and create their own 2-3 story 3D structures today. They were only given marshmallows and dry spaghetti noodles as supplies to build with.

Students in Mrs. Jarrell’s kindergarten class made kool-aid and talked through the steps to help them with their “how-to” writing! They excitedly took turns stirring and tasting!

Today in 3rd grade students became paleontologists using m&m cookies to carefully dig for colorful fossils. They graphed the number of fossils found by color and created questions to ask each other about the graph.

It’s Book Talk Tuesday on WEETV! Logan Langella loves the book Snowmen at Work. He loves this book because of the colorful pictures and the sneaky mouse who is on all the pages! #wildaboutreading @romecityschools



Our students enjoyed a game day competition in celebration of tonight’s SEC
National Championship! Congratulations to Caleb Mayes for winning a pizza party for his class by scoring 10 points!





We celebrated game day with the top 4 most spirited classes by hosting a mid day ball toss! Congratulations to Mrs. Lemaster’s room for winning the competition!





6th graders do a great job working with kindergarten friends by helping them in the areas of reading and math. Not only are our kindergartners learning, but it is teaching our 6th graders how to be positive role models and responsibility. We are very proud of their hard work!
