West End Elementary

Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Kenny Futch! Mr. Kenny is our lead 4th-grade teacher at West End.

Here are some things that were shared by his colleagues:

"Mr. Kenny is a wonderful teacher and has a great connection with his students as well as his colleagues. He is the team leader for fourth grade and does a great job providing his team support during the school year. He leads team discussions in Science and Social Studies and mentors a teacher who is new to WEE this year. He is a positive person and works well with others and has a passion for teaching his kids."

"Mr. Kenny is a student favorite year after year. He has a love for seeing students learn and is exceptional with all things technology. He is a humble leader who likes to stay out of the spotlight despite his many amazing qualities. He is an excellent role model, and we love him (even though he cheers for University of Tennessee football)!"

Mr. Kenny will be recognized at the Rome Board of Education meeting on Tuesday (10/17) at 5:45 pm. Congratulations Mr. Kenny!
